Anh Carrick originally
came to the UK in 2003 as a student herself to study. After a
graduate degree, she achieved an MA in Human Resource Management
from Durham University. Her MA focus was on the workplace within
different cultures; her dissertation focusing on conflicts and
solutions between British employers and Vietnamese workers in
Vietnam. She is a Chartered Certified Accountant for Practice.
She also has a Postgraduate certificate in finance, a certificate
of accreditation by London Landlord Accreditation Scheme, a certificate
of attendance OISC level 1, 2, and 3 by visa and immigration practitioners
ltd, and a certificate of being an agent for British council.
She is the co-author
of “UK Market: What you need to know” Book, published
by the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK on 09.04.2021 and was reissued
in April 2022. Anh is the only representative
from Vietnam who, along with 245 people from 84 other countries,
broke the Guinness World Record for the “most nationalities
in a simultaneous popular music sing-along” on 8th October
2018. She is the Director
of several companies based in the UK and Vietnam such as C&T
accountants ltd, Carrick Properties Investment ltd, Carrick education,
SEATFO Ltd, Nepte ltd in addition to being a board member of Vietnamese
Private Business; she was also a board member of “Stitches
in time”, a charity supporting education and equality.
